Snap Decisions And You

Happy Monday! We’re going to continue, today, with learning to think from your gut.

We left off last week with the challenge of noticing how you make decisions, how you feel about them, and how quickly you make them. Did you take up the challenge, and try to make a quick decision when you were out at a restaurant? If so, good! And how did it make you feel?

Today’s post will be short: this week’s challenge is to make quick decisions as much as possible. We’ll start with “easy” things, like what to make for dinner, what you’ll wear to work, etc. We’re not going to move onto the bigger decisions yet. But your day is filled with “easy” things, and too often we waste a ton of time making these decisions.

So this week, your challenge is to make decisions quickly. When faced with a choice, go with your first instinct. If someone asks where you want to go for lunch, say the first thing that comes to mind. If you’re looking in your closet for something to wear, grab the first thing that comes to your mind.

You also want to note how well your decisions turned out, and how you felt when you went with your first instinct.

Next week, we’ll examine how this all felt, and where to go to next.

To your success!
